In my researching last night about my latest HA "crisis", I came across this article:

In a nutshell, it lists all the different things a breast lump can be BESIDES cancer, which is actually a lot (and statistically a lot more likely too!).
It also says that all women hear about is breast cancer, so it makes sense that a lump strikes terror into the heart of every female when found. While getting it checked out is important, it's also important to NOT FREAK OUT because it is much more likely to be one of the normal lumps and bumps created by boobs throughout their existence, of which it turns out there are many.
