Should I start

I took Lexapro over three years ago and it helped but I believed at the time it caused hair loss. Still don't know for sure . My anxiety is high currently and am thinking of starting it again. Has anyone had experience with hair loss and Lexapro?

Yes, I take Celexa which is the sister drug and I am loosing a lot of hair. My doctor said I should add a multivitamin for my hair. I know prenatal pills are supposed to help with hair stuff, so I may try that. I'm thinking of switching to Lexepro to see if that is going to help more with my anxiety instead of Celexa and nortryptyline. I don't want to keep taking more and more pills (Unless it REALLY helps to control my anxiety and anxious thoughts)!

Hi Nurseanxiety,

I just switched from celexa to lexepro today via cross tapering (since I'm so sensitive to meds). I hope this works. I literally wake up shaking and trembling everyday from my anxiety. are you taking the lexepro yet?
