After 4 different meds that act on serotonin "and" norepinephrine, my doc has come to the conclusion that my brain can't handle and adjustments to adrenaline. Is there a TCA that doesn't mess with norepinephrine in any way? Basically just and older SSRI? (I have tried all of the ssri's and they have worked till they pooped out)

What meds were those?

hmmm... only Serotonin... that's difficult.
Next best things would be Trimipramine and Amitriptyline. Amitriptyline has Nortriptyline as an active metabolite, but overall it should feel "sertoniny".

Did you try Vortioxetine (Brintellix | Trintellix) or Venlafaxine (Effexor)?

I have tried effexor, anafranil, Elavil, and cymbalta. They all effect norepinephrine. Before that for just an ssri, I have been on lexapro, paxil, Zoloft, and Prozac.

The only meds that have actually worked was the lexapro and Prozac till they pooped out. The snri's was after the ssri's and then TCAs.

Anything I take that effects my adrenaline sends my body in to a freak out.

Effexor (Venlafaxine) is an SSRI. The "SNRI" label is just marketing.
Try Trimipramine. It only has a very weak NORT binding. It's the "purest" TCA-SRI available.

btw.: MAOI (Parnate, Nardil) might be worth a try. They have some adrenergic action, but they work differently than typical reuptake inhibitors... and feel differently. And are much more efficient than newer antidepressants and anxiolytics.
