Can I get sick from fungal toenail clipping?

I was clipping my toenail and Im afraid a small piece of it went into my mouth. It has fungus, but it was treated with lamasil for 3 consecutive months and it starting to grow back out normal. Then I spit out something white and soft and not the size of a toenail piece so it could've been food that I ate like an hour ago. But if it was a piece of toenail, could I get sick from it being in my mouth or get fungus in my mouth? Please help I'm kinda worried.

I highly doubt it. So many people get worried over this type of thing but to be fair, we have pretty amazing immune systems.

Only a small fraction of bacteria actually cause disease, however we all need to be exposed to it to build our immune systems.

Its very unlikely you even ingested it and if you did its still unlikely that it would cause an infection, I'd say you're absolutely fine and I hope you have a great day/night :yesyes:
