Nail beading

Hi everyone.

I went to several doctors because of my Scleroderma fear and all of them said I don't have Scleroderma right now. I even had a capillaroscopy, ANA's test and rheumatologist and dermatologist said I don't have Scleroderma.

But I'm having several nail beading in my finger and toe nails. They look like vertical ridges but with several bumps. Like wax dropping from a candle.
I read online that this can be a sign of rheumatoid diseases (like lupus or Scleroderma! again...)

Does anyone have this too? I have in 6 fingers and 2 toenails.

My mom has some lumps and bumps I have them only on my thumbs and big toes. For my mom they did testing and the doctors say she has nothing. Its just her norm.

Thanks for replying. THe ridges/beading came of nowhere! I didn't used to have this.
And no one in my family have it, so it's not hereditary.

So?... it's what makes you unique :) Things change as we age... no biggie.
