Hi everyone,

Today I discovered a small bump directly behind my earlobe. It feels like a pimple, but I'm not sure. I asked my husband if he can see a bump and he said yes. So, of course I goggled, I know it was a mistake, and read it could be a swollen lymph node. It doesn't feel like that, but I'm not really sure. I have only had a swollen lymph node in my armpit. The bump behind my earlobe doesn't hurt unless I touch it. I have had a few extra pimples the past two months, could this be a pimple? Anyone had something similar?

Thanks!

Midnight mouse, are they pimples? I'm really not sure since I can't see it.

I've had pimples and swollen nodes behind my earlobe.

No one can tell you what yours is, but just give it a few days. Either one will most likely subside in that time.

Hard to say, they came up during a time I was really worn down and stressed and also prime allergy time (not sure if there's a correlation) but seem to have gone down now. Could be either but unless they really swell or cause pain I really wouldn't worry about it.

This bump is right behind my earlobe, doesn't really feel that it's on my neck. It's right in the corner where your earlobe meets your neck or head. Do we even have lymph nodes back there? I know we have them on our neck.

That really does sound like a spot, is it any better now?

What do you mean by a spot? It is still there, kind of feels a bit smaller at times, and no longer hurts. It did hurt initially when I touched it.

Also, I did have a complete bloodworm done recently for my yearly physical and everything was fine, if it was lymphoma, wouldn't something show up on my blood work. I am mainly worried about lymphoma, but I think I read somewhere or someone told me that the first symptoms of lymphoma usually isn't swollen lymph nodes.

I have the same behind each ear and the left side is a tad bigger. Perfectly normal!

So they ever go away?

Yes we do. My node swelled there after having an AK burned off my earlobe.
