Red line around blister

Hello! Can anyone tell me if it's normal to have a red line around a blister? I went for a 5 mile walk 6 days ago wearing the wrong sock hence very large blister under my foot! It popped on its own,no pus but I'm freaking out about the line around it worried it's septic!!!! My husband thinks I'm stupid but my brain is screaming infection.....please help xx

It's normal to have redness around most any wound. Just put some Neosporin on it and you'll be fine.
