Headrush

Hi. I just experienced a headrush which I know can happen from when you stand up too quickly. However I stood up quickly, then switched the light on in my room, then walked a few steps and then got the headrush. My question is can headrushes happen moments after getting up like above or do they only happen straight away from standing up?

They don't always happen immediately, I get them sometimes after a few steps as well. It's just the blood trying to regulate itself, no need to worry!
