Yesterday morning I woke up with a sore throat. I spend the day pretty much living off of cherry cough drops. Today I woke up and surprise, my nose is blocked, throat still sore, and my ears sting when I swallow. I did what was recommended a sn gargled salt warm which brought up a TON of mucus from the back of my throat this morning... Gross, I know. I ended up vomiting it all up but my throat felt better. However, when I did I saw pink/ red in the mucus. Now I had woken up at about 2 am and had cold medicine that's red and I was eating cough drops ALL day yesterday that we're read so I thought maybe some of it just hung out in the back of my throat but now I'm really worried... has anyone else ever saw redness in their mucus when having a cold??
