Neurologist Appointment.

Has anyone ever had a neurologist appointment? I just had my date through and wondering what to expect at the actual appointment ? :)

I had one last year. In my case, we sat in her office and talked about my symptoms and she gave me a diagnosis in line with anxiety and discharged me.

It wasn't an intimidating experience at all.

i have had several and they will do an exam on reflexes and strength and sometimes ncv/emg. which is uncomfortable but not really painful. no big deal.

Yeah I had a few, I remember being quiet anxious and I don't know why to be honest, but it went great.

There was a lot of strength checks like grip, shoulders, feet and reflexes.

Then he just said you have anxiety :)

I had muscle twitching everywhere, felt like i couldn't talk right, off- balance and a few other things...
I thought I had some neuro disease like MND

Btw Livvy, I've seen your other thread and I'm sure I've read a lot of posts from females having the deja vu feeling while pregnant.
