Hello

If you see a neuro and have a MRI of your brain and cervical spine checking for MS, (I know it has a special name beginning with D, but I cant remember it), is the whole brain and neck checked for everything and anything else too?

So if anything was there, would it be reported?

Thank you :blush::blush:

Also, what is the difference between a regular brain MRI and an orbital MRI?

Thank you again :blush::blush:

Any and all findings of an MRI would be seen and reported. Even if they say they're looking for something, which is actually pretty unusual, anything of note whatsoever would be recorded by the specialist who examined your MRI.

The only difference between a brain MRI and an orbital MRI is that an orbital MRI looks at the orbits of the eye as well as the brain. It checks the optic nerves and discs.
