Scared

Lying awake at 3.20 am terrified of temporal lobe epilepsy. Had enough just want to feel better :(

What can anyone here say to reassure you?

As I've told you already, your fear of epilepsy and your belief that you have it has absolutely no bearing on whether you actually have it or not.

Look at the doctor's behaviour. They don't mess about with serious illnesses, yet nobody is in a rush to assess you. You'll have your neurology appointment and you'll be told you don't have it.

Why are you scared of T.L.E?
I have temporal lobe epilepsy. I had a brain infection as a child that the doctor's belived caused it.
However yes it causes many symptoms closely related to anxiety or may be present with anxiety disorders. Its nothing to be scared of.

Added on from before dejavu can be a sign of anxiety it's self.
