Just got a flu shot yesterday and now my upper arm and arm pit hurts. I had a stomach ache too but that went away. What gives.............:blush:

Sometimes they do. They are piercing tissue afterall. I found it's like an ache as if there is bruising.

The nurses at my surgery ask which side you sleep on because of this.

Every time I have a flu shot I get this. It's just normal. Surprised the person giving the shot didn't warn you about this.

Any kind of intramuscular injection will likely cause pain and swelling. Nausea can also occur. This is normal. Whenever I get any kind of immunization injection, my entire arm will be sore, from the tips of my fingers up to my shoulder and even into my armpit. It usually lasts for at least a day, though I have had the soreness linger for up to two-three days.
