Toe nail?

Hey folks,

So I was clipping my toenails this morning, and the little one on my right foot came off completely. Didnt have pain, or discolouration, or anythinf that would suggest a fungal infection. Didn't have trauma either. Just litterally fell off for no reason. The area is now a tiny bit sore, but im confused as to what could have caused this or if its something to worry about. I aint googling but i'd like some advice if this has happened to any of you. How long for it to grow back? Thanks!

PD: its not my big toe nail, its the little toe, the one thats far out.

PD: it was right after I took a warm shower, and my pinky toenail has always been tiny, like they never seem to grow much anyways. Just thought of adding this detail

the base of a little toe is tiny. as is the toenail itself.......

Don't worry the toe nail won't all have come off there will still be the growth part at the bottom that you will hardly be able to see as it is tiny. the nail will have snapped/cracked off at the bottom where it is attached as your nails are softer when they have been soaked in the hot water of the shower
