I'm sure everyone agrees that we make mountains out of molehills but last night I was thinking about the job I'm doing. Boss was sort of bragging when I came back on board in April saying there was all sort of work coming. We are almost finished a project and now it seems that he doesn't have as much as what he said he did. One project was delayed til Christmas and the other at last count was only about 1/2 hour a day.
I woke up this morning and started panicking because maybe the job is now finished. I'm so sick and tired of this. I've been working 43 years and the last 12 I was able to get work but there was always another lay off. Sometimes it's hard to get back on the pony. I haven't slept last night and took 1/2 sleeping pill at 9h30 today and all it's done is make me groggy.
Sometimes they are mountains and molehills but sometimes i feel i'm on target with my anxiety and panic and it's justified.
