So guys I had my first session of cbt for health anxiety An it made so much sense, basically treat all your feelings and thoughts as a stage and what is the spotlight on at the minute, mine is backache so I've been so focused on that I can't think of anything else, so let me put a spotlight on my feet, how do they feel on the floor notice my breathing and my hands and my shoulders basically try An put spotlights on various aspects of the body to realise the more you focus on something the more sensations and feelings and pain you will create on that body part

And that's just from one session. Keep that positive attitude and you'll be surprised how much progress you can make.

Grounding techniques can be very helpful. They use them to treat DP/DR too.
