Correct way to taper off lyrica

I'm on lyrica, 75mg 3x a day. I'm tapering off 25mg at a time. Right now, I'm taking 75mg in the morning, 50mg early afternoon, and 75mg at night. How should I progress? Take one of the 75mg doses down to 50mg also..
Or take the 50mg down to 25mg? The doctor spreaded the doses out like that due to I was getting inter-dosing withdrawal from just two doses. And if it's to take one of the 75mg doses down, which one? Morning or night?

I.have spoken to my doc and pharmacist, which both said it was up to me. I dropped my first time from 300mg to 225mg and had horrible withdrawals for about 3 days. I'm trying to do this with least amount of withdrawal feelings. It felt just like benzo withdrawal, just didn't last as long.

I'd say take the 75 mg down to the 50 mg, and from there in 25 mg decreases. Good luck, and keep in touch.

I actually have a glass enclosed microgram scale (0.0000g) and decided to actually make my own pills. I'm going to take my daily dose down to 175mg and divide that into three pills. Basically will have 58.3mg pills x 3 (174.9mg) a day. I will go through some withdrawal, but hopefully, it will pass quickly. I'm starting tonight

You can probably take it as a powder without actually making pills. I don't know what it tastes like, though. Good luck, and keep us posted.

has anyone stopped pregabalin once they got down to 25 mgs a day?

I'm still at the 150mg. The only thing I could suggest is opening the capsule and measuring it out and tapering down slowly, or cold turkey it. I dropped 75mg at once, and not going to lie, felt like crap for 3 days, but it did go away
