Hi everyone so i suffer from gad, depression, panic disorder and agoraphobia. I am unable to take anti depressants due to severe side effects that i suffer from them so am unable to tolerate them.
The gp has prescribed a short course of 2mg diazapam which i try not to take as dont want to gain dependent on them every time i have a panic attack which at the moment is daily.
Im really not coping at the moment and not functioning to the point where i cant even get out of bed.
My anxiety is out of control and feel i need severe intervention. I am currently on a waiting list to see a psychiatrist and also have been assigned a care cordinator who im also waiting to see but I wanted to know anyones experience of being admitted on a voluntary basis to a mental health hospital as im certainly not coping at home and a once a week visit isnt going to help me much as been there in the past.
