some of you may be sick of seeing my name pop up, but i like to share my situation just in case anyone out there can take some good from it. I got a job!! after being so down and depressed i lost my job and everything was falling apart, but i now have a job again and i am on the road to recovery. I see an ENT on tuesday for the lymph nodes in my neck, my doctor was honest and told me he doesnt know alot about lymph nodes and this is the first time i got to see him since all this started so he said he isnt concerned but to be on the safe side he will have an ENT take a look for safe measure so that brought me even more relief knowing that i can finally see a specialist and hopefully end it once and for all. i feel great though, my mood has improved, im more active, i spend alot less time on the web reading horror stories, ive improved in the past and then relapsed and everyone thought i was just being crazy and that i never actually started improving, but now with professional help i can really begin the recovery process. i hope some of you can do the same, just see your doctor, see a specialist, once you get the all clear see a therapist if needed, but the main focus is move forward and dont look back. ill update you guys after seeing the specialist on tuesday, i expect him to say the same as the doctors have been telling me so we will wait and see.

I thought you already had your nodes checked and they were all fine?

Yep and all was well. I believe the OP is talking about a reassurance "CYA"(cover your arse) appointment with an ENT which will verify the doctors findings.

Frankly IMO, until the anxiety is addressed professionally, this or something else will take hold and prolong healing.

Yeah it wasn't my idea to see the ENT it was my doctors, in fact i didn't even bring my nodes up he just asked how they were and i said same as they've been and he is sending me to see an ENT for "safe measure" i won't have any choice but to take the ENT's word on it, if he says hes not concerned ill just have to forget about it because i will surely be out of options so from there its all about controlling my anxiety with my therapist.
