There are symptoms now that can point to the ide that this may be the cause for my problems/symptoms; low B12, constipation, worsen hearburn, stomachache, reddis/dark brown stool plus the genetic fact that two of my grandparents had it. So is there anyone here suffering from this condition?

I suffer from it, it's horrible! I get this awful pressure in the top of my stomach just below my ribs that spreads up my chest and such. I'm always convinced I've got stomach Cancer.

Should I cut out spicy food and alcohol if I am diagnised with it? I notice it makes me feel worse.

Yeah I was diagnosed with it and GERD not long after that. Definitely cut out alcohol if you are. That'll make the stomach inflammation worse for sure. Ask your doctor about the spicy food, although I would think it would.

I have been a GERD cause for at least 20 years, probably before. Was diagnised in 2006 and now I think it has lead to gastritis. Should I not be able to enjoy a glass of wine for dinner either? Would it kille me or just cause more pain?

Naw man it won't kill you in either case, but if you just got GERD with or without gastritis sometimes it will irritate your GERD depending on how much you drink. Docs told me to be moderate with any alcohol concerning the GERD, however I got gastritis too so I don't drink any alcohol anymore; couldn't stand the burning feeling in my stomach anymore and it seemed like wine was the worst for me.
