Hey all.
Like all of you, I have been experiencing severe health anxiety about... well everything. Cancer, tumors, MS, ALS, etc. I was given Zoloft but was terrified to take it because of the side effects. I pretty much lived on this board to try to reassure myself i wasn't dying. Sadly, it mostly only worked for a few minutes.
I wanted to take a moment to say that medication can work. I'm on week 3 and today was the first day I actually felt like myself in a LONG time. Am I still scared? Yup. Is it easier to see that my problems are those of my own creation? You bet! I have a long journey from here to rid myself from this health anxiety hell, but I feel like, for the first time in almost a year, that I'm finally making progress.
