Lymph node question?

I have a node under my jaw just over 1cm I'd say and I've had it nearly 6 weeks, in the same time I've had a cold, I've had a sore throat and a lot of little illnesses due to being pregnant I've not shifted them yet. I've not yet had them checked out as I do have a illness so assuming it's that, but I was wondering when will they go down? After my illness? Or should they be down now?

Well I'm not too worried actually, I don't know why I used to have panic attacks about the ones lower neck! Now I'm just feeling meh. I just wanted to know if they will go down after the infection/illness I have. This one is by my jaw unlike the others I was worried about a while ago. It's a bit confusing and I don't want to google :doh:
