Hi,
I haven't posted for a while as I've been a lot better with my HA. But, this annual letter always puts me back in my place.
I have to get yearly smears after finding mild cervical cell changes plus HPV. I've had 2 colposcopys the past two years and biopsies confirming mild changes. The letters have both said just to come back in a year to be monitored and no treatment needed.
But honestly, the tests, the waiting, the letters, it sends me into a terrible spiral. So I guess I just need some support to stay rational ahead of my incoming turmoil.
Both years I've had hair loss over it due to immense stress and had to stay off from uni.
Can anyone offer some advice on not making this such a catastrophe this time? The colposcopy lady said last year that cervical cancer would take 5+ years at least to develop so that I shouldn't even go there in my head as I'm keeping up to date with everything. But i can't help it :(
Thanks for reading and any advice really appreciated x

Oops I forgot to say, the letter is just to book my smear. But as the last two years have been slightly abnormal I'm expecting this to be the same or worse :(
