Hello everyone,

I got a copy of my some of my blood test results.
I can see flags like H and L which I know mean high and low.

Question is: what does "(c)" in lowercase mean?

I searched online and C capital case means critical. Is that the same as c in parenthesis?

The printout says flowsheet at the top, in case this is software specific.

Thank you

Can you not call the doctor's and ask what it means?

Hi

This is just a courtesy reply to let you know that your post was moved from its original place to a sub-forum that is more relevant to your issue.

This is nothing personal - it just enables us to keep posts about the same problems in the relevant forums so other members with any experience with the issues can find them more easily.

Thank you, I should have selected a more relevant section. Regarding asking the GP, my appointment is in more than a week and I got this partial printout from the receptionist. Could anyone shed some light please? :(

If it was c for critical now way would they leave you to next week. They would arrange an emergency appointment

The hazards of getting these printouts which are littered with jargon which doctors understand but we aren't familiar with..Cue dubious interpretations and panic.

Anything major and you would be called in on the same day.
