Help, so scared aout blood test results

I had a blood test today and the doctor said she will text me the same day, but she didnt.
so i am all worry that it must be bad

I can relate to this as I have a phobia of any medical tests and waiting for the results/the results themselves.

What did you have the blood test for?

Ring them and ask about the results. It's already done, you're either ok or you're not ok, it's not the knowing about it you should be frightened of; it's the not knowing. :) You'll feel better once you've got the test results.

I know exactly how you feel. I got my first set of blood work done today in years and I have been in a state since. I keep thinking they are going to find something really serious like leukemia or something. I have the nurse calling me on Friday morning with the results whether they are good or bad but I dread every time my phone goes off now in case a doc calls me earlier with bad news. Its a horrible feeling of dread.
