Red, painful bump/lump on pantyline?

Hey guys. I’ve noticed the past couple of days I have this kinda firm, reddish bump where my pantyline is. It’s painful when my pants keep rubbing against it. I’m going to try to put a warm compress on it and hope that helps. I know that it might be from wearing tight pants but now I’m starting to worry that it’s a cancerous lump... it’s painful to touch and looks reddish. I feel like My pants are tight a lot of times.. has anyone else experienced this? I’m trying not to Google...

Could it be a ingrown hair? Maybe it's just a spot?

Hi not sure if it's the same, but (sorry for this) I wax all of my hair down there and sometimes if I leave it to long to get another wax, i sometimes get an ingrown hair which is super painful especially when I wear tighter panties. Try putting an ice cube on the bump which will help with the swelling and the pain. X

It'll be an ingrown hair. I've had them in the exact same place.
