Lately iv been having a little trouble standing still, like I'll be standing up and not moving or anything and just have to take a step backwards to regain balance or something, of cores went straight to google and found about about Acoustic neuroma, I mean I only have the balance thing nothing else. No hearing loss or anything like that.

Thank you

That is quite the leap. ANs are very rare and you don't even have the hallmark symptoms. The dizziness comes later. I got worked up for an AN about eight years ago (not HA related). I'd put it out of your mind. Without the signature symptoms, an ENT will laugh you out of his office for bringing it up.

Even if you had an AN, which is a HUGE leap, as pointed out, they are rarely fatal. They are not a cancer, and while they require treatment and sometimes radiation, they do not generally have any effect on longevity or life span. More of a chronic pain in the butt---ear ? than anything else. Only in the rarest of rare cases do they become cancerous.

Additionally, I have been dizzy off and on for years. No AN here.
