so ive been suffering from panic attacks for the last week im on 50mg of sertraline and was just put up to 100mg and ive been referred to CBT i was wondering what they do during these sessions and if they prescribe anything my doctor gave me 40mg of propranolol which she upped aswell i was on 10mg and it didne really help during the attacks

Hiya Cerberus and welcome to NMP :) So you aren't saying the therapist upped your dose? But the dr did right. A.F.A.I.K a therapist cant prescribe meds and would speak/refer you back to your dr. I have just started CBT my self so can ask but I would say no they cant. HTH ATB
