Over the past couple of months I have been seeing a GI specialist about my GERD and was originally looking for an exclusionary diagnosis of IBS. However my ALT and AST keep coming back abnormal. They will be around 100 for ALT and 60 for AST which is about double what they should be, then drop back down within teh standard range but on the high end then go back up out of range again. About 8 months ago I hd to go to urgent care and they took all those blood tests and every single on was well within normal range and I have not made any changes in my diet or activity. I rarely drink alcohol. My latest tests not only did the ALT and AST come back abnormal but so did the VItamin D (deficient), and ionized calcium (elevated). While my ALP has stayed within normal range I am noticing that each time it is taken it continues to go up! I tested negative for Celiac and diabetes. My friends and family are having a hard time helping me cope because I keep falling apart. I cannot concentrate on work or my relationships and I can barely eat because my anxiety is so bad.
