Hi,
Have just joined No More Panic, have been suffering from Panic Attacks for nearly 10 years, the first one happened after a very stressful time and work and in my personal life. It took a long time to get a proper diagnosis, so in the meantime I thought I was going to die! Have had a few good year in between, mainly when I had my two daughters (now 6 &4) . Never had a panic attack whilst pregnant... what a relief. Have been on Citalopram for 2 years now, it worked really well towards the 18 month mark, then tried to go down to a lower dosage but the panic came back. Have been back on a higher dosage for a few months now, a little better but nowhere near as good as I was, is getting me down a bit.
I did manage to sit through 20 minutes of George Micheal at Wembley, with much help from my partner, then had to go! After that I thought I would be feeling proud and much better but have not had a good week at all.
Anyone with any ideas of how I can move forward with this would be much appreciated.
