Hey,
I'm 21 years old and I've had health anxiety for about 6 years now. Recently, I've started getting odd feelings in my chest (almost like a bubbling feeling?), occasional pain towards the left that comes and goes, beats out of rhythm etc.
I also have a lot of muscle twitches around my upper arms and sometimes elsewhere.
2 weeks ago I ended up in A&E because my heart started beating really rapidly and strongly for about 5-10 minutes and I thought I was going to die. I've never had a panic attack before but the doctors put it down to that, even though I had no other symptoms.
I had an ECG and it came back fine, but I'm still terrified that something is wrong. I can't currently go to a doctor as I'm living abroad.
Please can anyone offer me reassurance (and not further panic!) or tell me if you've had similar?
