Hi every one., so for two weeks now I have had a sore wisdom tooth with an infected gum that has been treated by my dentist weekly and is getting better but as I have had to use the other side of my mouth to chew with I have now developed an infection in the gum on this side now above a cracked tooth that hasn't been sorted yet :(
Basically the dentist has said I have an infection but nothing can be done yet until other problem has been solved..my cheek feels tight like it's swollen..why would he not offer antibiotics? Does salt water do the job just as well? so guys I'm really worried about sepsis and all that wonderful scary stuff that can happen if it's not treated with ATBX
Anyone have a clue about teeth?? Thank you 😷

Chlorhexidine mouthwash is the best thing for this. (Corsadyl or generic brand)
I get sore gums around my wisdom teeth despite brushing religiously and it really helps. Do bear in mind though that it can be strong and can leave your tongue feeling tingly and almost "burnt" so you can dilute it with water.
