Hi All,
This is my first post.
First a little introduction:
Was diagnosed GAD in Jan-2015, took escitalopram 10mg once a day and propranolol 10 mg twice daily for 6 months. Was taken off by the doctor. started medication again this year 2 months before with the same dosage. Had an extreme allergic reaction to escitalopram and I quit the medication after a month by myself to deal with the allergy.
My doctor advised me the meditation and deep breathing exercises, however, whenever I take deep breaths, my hearts pounds really fast which in result makes me feel panicky.
