Hi I'm Aimee,

I've been having panick attacks for two months now, at least daily. I have my good and bad days. On my bad days I feel totally out of control of the way I'm feeling and like theres nothing I can do to stop the feelings of not feeling like I'm actually there and that I need to go to hospital cos' something bads going to happen to me.

What do you do in this situation???

I would love your advice and help!!!

thanks xxx:)

Hi aimee,
theres nothing much you can do other than ride it out, harsh but true...
just remember you are the one in control no matter how bad you feel.Try deep breathing and distracting yourself if you can.

Im sorry i cant be more positive for you, take care...Candie xx

The best thing I can suggest since you're in the early stages of your attacks is to remember how you used to cope in the situations that are now causing you distress.

If you allow these attacks to get hold of you they will start to take over your natural way of thinking.

Remember panic attacks are un-natural ways that your body expresses anxiety, similar to a heightened awareness if you wake during the night because you think you've heard something. So do panic attacks give you the fight or flight adrenalin necessary when you are in danger but it gives you it at un-natural times, when there is no danger.

Put a stop to them now!

Hello Aimee !
Try some quick EFT - I've recommended this before and others have found it useful ... This is what you do ...

Measure your panic on scale of 1-10 (when 10 is the worst)
Put your hands together as if praying
Bridge your fingers so just the tips are touching
Gently tap the fingertips together
Say to your self "calm and relaxed, safe and secure"
Now measure the panic again - has it come down ?
Tap again ... it will come down even more

Give it a go
Be kind to yourself

You can do this anywhere without drawing attention to yourself !
