Hello! 4 months over here!
I went to a neuro, a Dr and an Optometrist (sounds like the start of a joke) - no-one could help me!
All said it was benign.
It's driving me bonkers, I get about 5 twitches every minute, or use too - it's getting better now - I only get it when water gets in it, if I touch it wrong - which is weird or if my hair blows in it ... does yours do that? If i put eye drops in it twitches wildly and then settles down, super weird and super annoying!

Oh and yes I"m getting muscle spasms too - hence Neuro, in my fingers, calf muscles, the arch in my foot and in my back!

eye twitching can be due to being overtired, stressed, and anxiety.

My right eyelid loves to get all worked up and twitchy, it will start and keep it up whenever I’m focused on something but also even just half thinking about it, it can go on for days if not weeks. Goes away once I finally forget about it.

Never worried me though if I’m honest, makes me think I look like a cartoon character that’s rather ticked off!

I've had my left eye twitch for a good two months when I've been really stressed out before.

thank you all for your replies... i have been through stress the past few months so i guess is the way my body is reacting to the stress.

i just find it weird that it started now that i am no longer under stress.
