Hey guys. I was out drinking last Friday and on Saturday I had a dry mouth. Which I know is normal after drinking alcohol.

My mouth is totally fine if I have my mouth closed. But if I talk it gets really dry and my saliva is white and thicker. This keeps happening. But only if I’m talking.

I do have post nasal drip at the moment and phlegm in my throat. I’ve coughed up a bit of green stuff (infection?)

I’m scared of oral thrush? But I have no wire patches or soreness etc. And my mouth is fine if it’s closed and fine in the mornings. It just dries out when I’m talking etc.

Should I be worried?

anyone?

I have since developed a cold and during my cold I haven't had much of a dry mouth at all. So do you think the 2 are related? It seems odd that

1) If my mouth is closed its not dry
2) It has passed since my cold has come on

I googled it and it doesnt say dry mouth is a cold symptom. But I dont know... Please help?
