Does anyone here not have panic attacks and rather just have symptoms that change on a daily basis with some that are consistent each day?

I never have panic attacks. I do have severe anxiety and OCD, and possibly PTSD. Funnily, right now, my anxiety isn't that bad even though I truly do suspect I have cervical cancer or CIN (got some pretty compelling symptoms, not just craziness!) I I'm sure I'll get anxious again if/when I'm diagnosed though. My OCD is also very extreme at the moment though.

I think I did have a panic attack once, maybe more than once. Very rapid heart rate, hyperventilating, feeling faint, tunnel vision. It didn't really alarm me though. I knew I was just experiencing a physical response to anxiety. When you know that, it doesn't seem so bad.

What does alarm me is real physical symptoms not caused by anxiety that are as yet undiagnosed.

I sometimes get panic attacks but not frequently. Rather I get attacks of intense anxiety which is different from a panic attack I think as I don't get the racing heart etc. I think pretty much everyone here has symptoms that change regularly. Most of us also find it hard to accept that it can be anxiety that's causing all these horrible symptoms.

Are you doing anything to treat your anxiety?

20 mg of paxil for a week then cut down to 10 mg for two weeks and a little over a week weaning off, two months later was taking 5 mg of valium daily for two weeks

You know that's not enough time to allow it to work and Valium is just a quick fix . I suggest speaking to your GP about it. It's apparent by your post history that the natural route isn't working and you need some help. Look into professional real life help in the form of one on one or CBT therapy and in the meantime, download the FREE CBT program in my signature.

I have had panic attacks , there very frightening , Although i havent had them for a few years now , but i did suffer for many years so much so i developed acrophobia i associated panic attacks with being outside , I suffered for 5 years with it but made myself go out every day no matter how scared i felt inside , this thing that kept me going was telling myself i have a inner strength to fight this, I think you have to be positive when you suffer panic attacks telling yourself you can get through this and your not going to rule my life , also i do think everyone who have anxiety issues are very strong people , we have to be to beat this , Im over all that now , I just have fybromyalgia now . oh well we are strong
