i was out on my beautiful red sports honda motorcycle, top to toe leathers, the inner dialogue being "lookin good feelin good" i noticed some highly attractive women outside the postal depot i was picking up from.
i slinked back to the bike("lookin good feelin good")and leapt on,perfect.
with a glance towards the beautiful women, i switched on the bike,
click,purrrrrrrrrrr......perfect.off we go,lookin good feelin good.
off into the sunset............................................ .......

well actually, over the handlebars then under the bike
it was still chained to a lampost.

lesson learned.chain up the front wheel not the back:ohmy:

LOL oh no Ade - what a nightmare!

I did a similar thing once. Had just got on my old trials bike and saw a guy walking down the street who used to bully us girls a few years before. So I thought I'd make a quick exit.

Started up, went to ride off and... found myself sideways on in a heap in the middle of the road. I'd left the steering lock on...doh!

Funny thing was, although it was dead embarrassing, he actually came over and helped me up and things were fine after that. I guess there is a reason for everything lol.
