Scared I’m a pedo???

So I care across this porn video with the word “teen” in the title. I watched half of it but then I got scared that I was committing a crime. Even tho I’m 99 percent sure they are over 18, but what if they weren’t and I just committed a crime? I’m terrfied now. I didn’t search for it, it just popped up under the key words I searched. How can I calm myself???

Unless you were deliberately searching for child pornography, I doubt you'd have just come across an illegal video material. From what I know, porn studios put 'teen' in the title despite the actresses being of legal age. If you're not sexually aroused by children, you are not a pedo. :)

Not to be rude but this has nothing to do with GAD. I thought you were having intrusive thoughts that you were a pedo (since that's something that happens). It sounds more like you are worried that you saw something you shouldn't have. Just FYI, teen can mean 18-19. Unless you are visiting this site through the dark web i am 100% what you saw was legal (since most sites of that nature have an extremely strict policy that all videos must be legal).

You are not a pedo, as SugarFree said, it's barely any child involving adult movies on the internet, I think the actors are 100% 18 years old or older. No need to worry.

I'm probably not qualified to reply to this, but I'd say it's highly unlikely your a pedo. I dought very much paedophiles broadcast their activities over the internet. I would have thought it's very hard to find real child porn on the internet. Maybe I'm wrong IDK, fortunately it's just one problem I haven't got to deal with myself��

The porn industry purposely looks for actors that are over 18 but are very young looking. And I remember seeing a programme on TV years ago about how they use new technology to enhance vids/pics to make actors look younger.

There are usually legal disclaimers along the bottom about "all actors are 18 or over...".

If it just popped up, it's unlikely. It would need to be a keyword search that could return such material and I really doubt a vid would just pop up.

I just want to add to this, knowing the OP struggles with OCD & intrusive thoughts, that sexual arousal can occur in OCD and it's a well documented physical reaction (both men & women. Blood flow, focussing on private parts, primitive sexual arousal in the brain, etc). But the difference between OCD & paedophilia is clear, the OCDer demonstrates all the fears, guilt & shame. I know this is what ana means so just adding a bit just in case.
