Who here has iatrophobia and avoids dr

It seems lots of people on here go to dr regularly. Not me I don’t have a gp and last gas blood work and check up 3 years ago I’m 39. I do see a Gyb o for paps. I’m terrified of tests and freak at the thought of them. I’m convinced my bottle of wine each weekend will show up on liver tests, never did in the past or that some other major problem will be uncovered. I’ve had a mammo for a lump that was a cyst but showed dense tissue. After reading a lot I’ve decided I’m not getting anymore until I’m 50. I can’t stand the terror of going to dr. I’m luckily rarely I’ll knock on wood. I take birth control pills but no other meds. The thought of any medical tests sends me into terror. I’m wondering if I’m the only one with ha likd this

I HATE seeing my GP. My fear isn't the GP itself, but its the prospect of being told I need further tests or referrals. Scans in particular frighten me. I think back to before I had Health Anxiety and I once had an MRI of my head cause of my dizzy spells and I didn't give it a second thought but NOW something like that would send me spiralling.

I will only see my GP if I feel I really need to as I am so scared of tests.

I am in USA and my insurance lets me see specialists without referrals but I rarely go I do measure my blood sugar periodically it’s kormsk. My bp is high but that’s anxuett as it comes down
