Steroid-induced skin atrophy

Hi there, i've been coping with an issue that's really making me feel very anxious.

i was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis on my groin and genital region, and my dermatologist told me to use Betamethasone+Ketoconazole cream for 2 weeks. The thing is, i'm almost sure the Betamethasone thinned my skin and now i'm freaking out bc i read on google that skin thinning cases are almost always irreversible.

Have anyone gone through similar issues? I have an appointment on monday but the waiting is terrible :weep:

I think you would have to use steroid cream for a long time (years) for "thinning" of the skin to occur - not a few weeks.

How old are you? This also wouldn't be an issue if you're young, which I'm guessing you are.
