So scared.

I’m terrified I have anal cancer. TMI I know but I have such pain when I sit down. I’ve been to the doctor who examined me and said the skin was red. She advised me to use sudacrem and if it was no better go back. There’s no blood in my stools and I’m going normally so she wasn’t worried. It’s no better so I went back yesterday. It was a new doctor who examined me internally, said there was no cause for concern but could not see a fissure. He said it might be the remnants of a pile and to use Anusol for 2 weeks and if no better go back. I’ve since been in Dr Google and have convinced myself it’s anal cancer. Has anyone had similar symptoms. I’m beside myself.

Is the pain in or on the anus? Has it let up since you first posted?

It’s on the anus rather than in. Not passing any blood and all bowel movements are normal. It’s worse when I’ve walked or doing exercise. Am starting to wonder if it’s a nerve problem. Although the doctor said skin was slightly inflamed which made me panic more.
