Urge to vomit after a hypochondric scare?

Happened this morning. Thought i felt a lump on the same armpit that's been hurting for about a week now and the worst came to mind.
It scared me so much i had the urge to puke and i had to sit down.

Anyone else had this happen to them? :ohmy:

OMG YES! A few months back I was extremely scared that I had ALS, every single morning when I woke up (for two weeks) I would spend 20 min in the bathroom dry heaving, which finally subsided. But to answer your question one day I made the mistake of googling Bular ALS and read about tongue twitches, I ran to the mirror and saw the slightest tiniest little twitch in my tongue, and I got so scared I threw up immediately. Anytime I had a twitch or a weird sensation I would get so scared I would get sooo nauseated!! Definitely anxiety, the fight or flight response must mess with the stomach because man, was I nauseous, and it would even get to the point where I would actually get sick. Im glad that part is over lol.

Yes that’s a common form of anxiety If the adrenaline hits from being scared about something makes u sick or dry heave it’s horrible
