Rheumatic fever?

I think I might have strep throat (for about 3 days now) and I am concerned that I have rheumatic fever. My chest is starting to hurt now, so I'm worried that I have something wrong with my heart because I know strep throat can harm your heart, brain and kidneys if left untreated. I am going to the doctors in a little bit, but what if it's too late. I'm scared now

You’ve now linked a sore throat to HIV and heart issues. Why, for goodness sake, can’t it just be a sore throat? It’s winter, it happens!
