How long should both take if nothing is ?
I dont mean thw whole preperation and consent, etc. I just mean the actual procedure itself. Ive heard stories of it lasting between 3-5 mins and some lasting 45-60'mins. Can anyone clarify?

You confused me there as I thought it was a new procedure but now I think you mean "endoscopy and colonoscopy".

There is no one answer to this. I have had a colonoscopy that lasted about 50 mins and then another one that lasted 20 mins - it depends really

I watched it all on the screen - quite fascinating. I do it with no sedation and only gas and air if I need it. The consultant says he prefers patients that are alert and awake when he does it as well.

I had a large polyp removed and then the area was tattooed, and several other polyps removed as well. Because the one at the very top was big they could not suck it down the tube so they had to gradually drag it back down the colon slowly hence it took so long.

When I had one last July (2016) it was all over and done in 20 mins.

Can I drink alcohol the night before a colonoscopy and endoscopy? It doesnt state that I should avoid alcohol.

No sedation??? You must be tough and brave woman lol.
