So I went to bed at 10.30pm felt alright.

Woke up at 4am couldn't get back to sleep so stayed up.

Yesterday thought my eye problems were going.

Today I need to take my glasses off to use my phone which I shouldn't need to plus I'm looking at the tv / screen and my eyes are going crazy can't focus and squinting etc.

I already take eye vitamins (Lutein, Bilberru extract, Omega 3) use an eye mask daily from Optrex plus do eye exercises on an app called eye care plus. Been back to opticians and they think it's tired eyes, tiredness or stress. Is this a Sertraline thing? Could be aspergers linked?

Hi Mark sorry to hear about your eye issues, I too have been going through done eye problems over the last few months.

It could well be the sertraline causing it as a possibility, as they are known to cause eye issues reading other members posts on the forum.

I would put my money on what the opticians said sounds like stress or tiredness.

Can you elaborate more on the but where you said your eyes are going crazy looking at tv and can’t focus? Sometimes my eyes or vision feels like it jumps especially when watching tv and say the scene of the program changes from one person to another etc Muscles around eyes also feel tired and tight sometimes.

I’m also taking some of the vitamins you mentioned.

Hey guys!

I have also been suffering with eye pain/discomfort/blurred and dim vision for over three months now. I originally thought it was damage due to an accidental exposure to direct sunlight (1-2 second gaze). I had a panic attack later in the day of the sun incident thinking I had destroyed my vision. I have had three different opthamologists and a retinal specialist all say that my eyes are perfect (20/20 vision in each eye) with no evidence of solar damage.

Could this all be caused by anxiety/mild depression?

Looking forward to your replies.

Thanks!!!

Hi there

Vision problems is s common anxiety symptom. I've had from time to time. The cause is simple to explain. Adrenaline hits the eye muscles and weakens them

Hope this helps

Seems to be migraine. When I get them I struggle to read books, tablet and phone with my glasses on. The TV and games console screens looks blurred than usual. Eyes feel uncomfortable etc. Vision can be more blurry than usual when out and about.

I tried Migraleve then either paracetamol or ibuprofen sometimes one pro plus helps. Around 1 coffee.

Seems to be caused by lack of sleep, tiredness, stress and anxiety. Not sure if Sertraline is linked but I have decided to stop Sertraline and move onto herbals with Doctor supervision.
