We got a small cross terrier dog name Jack. Hes 4 years old, very cute but very mischievious.
This morning we got up to find he wasnt on his favourite chair in our lounge.
We looked in the laundry room to find he was in his bed. Theres only 2 reasons why he goes in his bed and they are cus hes either been naughty or hes not feeling well.
I went to pick him up and noticed hed got my rescue spray by the side of him.
Hed obviously had a major panic attack in the night and felt very wuff. (sorry rough) and being the clever dog that he is instead of barking to wake us up had realised the best thing to do was to get my rescue spray out of my bag and try that.
We are now going to see if we can learn him how use the computer so he can be the first dog to register with nmp.:D
After that we are going to enter him on next years programme "Britains got talent"
Surely even simon cowell would be totally amazed by our Jack?:yesyes:
Have any of you other nmp members got animals that suffer with panic attacks? Or are we the only people that has our poor jack that suffers?:winks:
Im thinking of trying to show him how to breathe properly into a paper bag to see if that can help him.

Take care
LYNN xx

Tsk, tsk - I can't believe people are being so flippant about Jack's panic attack! Where is the support and empathy????

Hi lyn, your pouch sounds lovely, my dali, does get panicky when there is thunder and lightening around, she tries to find the smallest of holes to crawl into, bless her last week we went to centre parcs and hubby,s sister had her for us ,she lives in lincoln and last tuesday said that they had the most awlful thunder storm, she thought that domino was having a heart attack. we were in elvden suffork and had the best weather ,came home with a sun tan. I think my dali is very clever in that she sings to corri , not sure weather it,s because she likes it or not.:yesyes:
