Can night sweats be brung by having a cold?

Not posted in a while, but the last week I have been waking in the night sweating mainly my back arms and head. I have also had a cold so could this be bringing it on? Also been having some bad dreams could this be another thing that bring on night sweats?

Yep... any virus or infection can cause you to sweat a bit.

They raise your body temperature so sweating is very likely.

I'm just passing through a chest infection after a cold last week and whilst it's quite cold in my area I've been out walking with my coat open and still boiling.
