Painful Sore Inside Cheek

So, my previous mouth spot appears to still be healing (I guess?)...

However, I now have a painful sore lesion area on the inside of my right cheek (other side of mouth from previous sore).

It's right about in the middle of my cheek where I can bite my cheek but I don't know that I remember clearly biting it. Sometimes I do kind of chew that area a little bit when I'm just thinking or bored but not hard.

Could it be cancer from irritation or something? Anyone else ever had lesion develop in this area of their cheek?

Yes, it’s irritation. How you jump to cancer from an irritation, I have no clue.

Use an alcohol based mouthwash. It should go away in a few days.

Maybe you bite your cheeks in your sleep? Maybe you grind your teeth, which can also cause this in youe sleep? And these are common to anxiety.

You admit to chewing the area, well that only irritates it. When you irritate soft skin you cause it to bleed, inflame, etc. If you rub your skin, does it go red? If you scratch your lef, does it go red or maybe you cut the skin leaving a mark?
