Hey All!
I've have GERD for years maybe 10 - and over the last couple of years it's gotten really bad, like a painful inflammed stomach, the Dr has said that my stomach feels inflamed and it's likely it's Gastritis, I went to a Gastro Dr two years ago and he said I don't need an endoscopy and it's probably chronic indigestion.
Whatever it is it's frustrating me.
I'm trying really hard to manage my anxiety and I'm not yet over come with panic which is a good sign.
What happens to me is that my stomach feels tight nad instead of a burning feeling I get a burning horrible pain between my shoulder blades like someone is putting hot rods into them - the Dr has called this referred pain, does anyone else get that?
I'm burping all the time at the moment too - so back on Omperazole but I shouldn't ignore the cancer aspect here - indigestion for 10 years, gastritis now on and off for 3 years ... time for an endoscopy I think but anyone else relate????
